CWI Lighting Inc. Warranty Policy

CWI Lighting Inc. is committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. This warranty policy outlines the coverage and conditions for our indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, as well as mirrors.

Warranty Coverage: 

1. Indoor Lighting Fixtures:

  • year warranty from the date of purchase. 
  • year warranty on LED components.
  • CWI Lighting will provide necessary replacement parts but is not responsible for labor.

2. Outdoor Lighting Fixtures:

  • 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. 
  • 3-year warranty on LED components.
  • Coastal locations may experience corrosion or deterioration, which is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty.
  • CWI Lighting will provide necessary replacement parts but is not responsible for labor costs.
  • Non-coastal graded outdoor finishes are covered under the CWI Lighting Warranty, except in cases where the product is installed within ten (10) miles of a seacoast or a large body of water.

3. Mirrors:

  • 3-year warranty from the date of purchase on LED components.
  • Cracked or scratched mirrors that have already been installed are not covered.

What is Covered?

  • Parts that arrive damaged.
  • Missing parts from the box.
  • Parts that do not function properly.
  • Parts that stop functioning within the warranty period.

What is Not Covered?

  • Installation costs.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused during installation.
  • Modified or altered parts.
  • Products that are out of warranty.
  • Halogen, xenon, fluorescent, and incandescent bulbs.
  • Third-party components covered by their own manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Claims Process: To file a warranty claim, contact CWI Lighting’s Support Team at  info@cwilighting.com. You may be asked to provide images or videos of the defective product to  facilitate assessment. If the product is deemed defective, CWI Lighting may choose to repair or replace the product at its discretion. If neither option is viable, a refund of the original purchase price may be  offered in exchange for the return of the product.

CWI Lighting reserves the right to inspect any reported defective product before determining the resolution.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty will be void if the product is damaged due to improper installation, neglect, abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper maintenance, or alterations. Damage caused by chemicals, corrosion, accidents, fire, floods, acts of God, or similar events is not covered.

Installation Responsibility: Proper installation is the responsibility of the original purchaser. CWI Lighting does not install products, supervise installations, or hire contractors. As such, CWI Lighting is not liable for any damages or failures resulting from installation errors, whether direct or indirect.

Warranty Applicability: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser from a CWI Lighting Inc. authorized dealer and is non-transferable.
